This past Sunday we continued our study of I Corinthians considering Paul's statement that The Time is Short (I Corinthians 7:29-31). Paul instructs us on multiple occasions in this chapter to live "as if" the return of Jesus Christ is imminent - regardless of our circumstances we ought to remain where God has called us focusing our effort in devotion and service to the Lord.
This coming Sunday we move into chapter 8 and consider Paul's instruction regarding our behavior in relation to others - and how we are to be careful not to lead others into sin.
Join us at 9:30am for Worship and then following a time of refreshment in the Adult Discipleship study of "Jesus' Big Idea" being taught by Phil Trimble at 11am.
This Week's Focus Text:
Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live ... Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling block to the weak. I Corinthians 8:6 & 9 / NIV
