I was thinking of the song, Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus, yesterday during Jeff’s sermon as appropriate as we face so many unknowns during this time.  How blessed we are to have a God that we can turn to:    

Turn your eyes upon Jesus

Look full in His wonderful face

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and grace

 

While the sermon was in progress, I saw a picture of two hands coming down from the sky, through the clouds and it was scooping us up and holding us in the comfort of “His” hands. A very calming feeling came over me. What a wonderful service!

Zechariah 9:10 – He will proclaim peace to the nations, His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth. Give us eyes to see the world through the eyes of Jesus the Compassionate and Victorious!

 

 Shout Hosanna – “I’m gonna sing in the Middle of the storm”

 No Doubt! 

 No Confusion!

 The TRUTH Remains!    Faithful and True

 God’s ways, His PLAN -----Are not our ways or our plan

 We cannot judge God’s plan or blessings by circumstances

 God’s Plan will PREVAIL and He is Active in the Detail!!

When I first started to come to Faith, I was concerned about the predestination and that is a big pill to swallow, I never thought about it that way, but I knew this – that no matter who or what the doctrine is…you will know you are my disciples if you have love one for another. So if I knew they were your people because they had love for one another. I think God would want to admonish it and say he is pleased with us because we have love one for another and that is the tell tail sign that we are his disciples.

I had a picture of a lot of darkness and a bright sunshine going down and then right after that a bright sunrise coming up and it is that the sun will always overtake the darkness.

There were a couple of things that really spoke to me. First, and I think a big piece is your heart posture, which just really resonated with me. It was Mary and her heart posture – a female and kind of in those days weren’t thought of highly and it was a female that her heart posture was right. She may have been able to see more than the disciples, or may be able to see more it was her heart posture. I think it is important as we come in here, but more so as we walk out the door, what is our heart posture? If we are frustrated is that the time where we stop and say God – be with me and get my heart posture right.

 

My father was a shoe repairman and I saw him kneeling at lots of people’s feet. I could picture Mary wiping Jesus feet with her hair, because I saw that in my father so many times and her kneeling and using this expensive oil just rang home with me. It was pampering him and making him feel worthy.

I saw a picture and a scripture. The picture was not mine it came from Jeopardy question last week – we aren’t caught up yet. A picture of a tiny church and it panned out and it was a tiny church and in the background was the Dolomites a huge mountain and with that I was thinking of a scripture – Psalm 121 that says: I look to the mountain where does my help come from – my help comes from the Lord maker of heaven and earth. I was also thinking of God making that mighty mountain and he also made that small tiny blade of grass – I started to notice things are coming up – bulbs are coming up and I am thinking from a tiny little seed he has that it is all from the spectrum – that is where my help comes from.

This is a carryover from last week, I heard two separate passages, and one is from James 1:1 – James a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ to the twelve tribes that are scattered among the nations. Then almost immediately I had a picture of the scripture of Revelation 4:1: After this I looked and before me there was a door standing open in heaven and the voice I first heard speaking before me was like a trumpet and said “Come up here and I will show you what must take place after this.

Psalm 19:14 - May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Philippians 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Isaiah 26:4 - Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

Isaiah 9:2 - The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

Psalm 37:3 - Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Scripture:

The scripture that comes to mind is trust in lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

John 14:6 1-5 Jesus is saying I am going before you to prepare a place for you for in my father’s house are many rooms this is a recognition not just for us but for those who are not yet among us – the spaces whether they are empty or just how God is preparing a space for yet more in the family of God.

I see foundations shaking where do I need to go, I need to lean into scripture, and into my faith and I need to listen.

Coming off of both of these gals the idea of seeing foundations shaking if you are experiencing an earthquake you are not going to remain in a standing position – you will go as low as possible so you do not fall. So back to posture, the foundations, we go back to prayer with the posture of humility to understand.
